James grew up in Centennial, Colorado and has always called the greater Denver metro area home. His love of technology can be traced all the way back to middle school when he discovered computer games. James graduated from the University of Denver with a degree in Finance. After graduation he worked routing financial transactions for Arrow Electronics for a couple of years. During this time he spent his evenings studying computer programming, his true passion. After building up an impressive programming portfolio doing short term projects, he was able to land a job in Web Development and Computer Programming. James began his programming career working for an architectural software company (MEP.C.A.D.) and specialized in large commercial projects throughout the United States, Europe, and Dubai.
These days, James is the primary developer for Sidewinder, a proprietary web application for managing the acquisition, development, and oversight of investment properties for R Investments. His responsibilities include software development, database management, bug testing, and user interface optimization.
In his free time, James enjoys playing basketball, making electronic music, writing, painting, and traveling the world.
